Our Values

At Precova, we do more than recover lost data—we help preserve your memories and give your old tech a second life. These are the values that guide everything we do.

Trust & Privacy First

We treat your data like it’s our own. All recovery work is done in-house, and every device is securely wiped using military-grade (DoD 5220.22-M) standards if you don’t want it back. Your privacy is never compromised.

Respect for Your Memories

Every hard drive, phone, or USB stick we touch might contain someone’s life story. Whether it’s a parent’s digital archive or your child’s baby photos, we handle your files with care and attention.

Giving Back Through Technology

When devices are left with us:

  • Working computers are refurbished and donated to foster youth through James Storehouse

  • Non-working devices are recycled through Hollywood Storage Center’s Free Electronics Recycling Program, supporting local scholarships for Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks high school students.

We make sure your old tech helps someone’s future.

Clear, Honest Service

No confusing tech jargon. No hidden fees. We explain what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what it will cost—up front.

Accessible for All

We work with families from all walks of life. Whether you're organizing old media, recovering data from a broken laptop, or digitizing family videos, our pricing and approach are designed to be fair and flexible.

Local & Personal

We’re proud to be a small business based in the Conejo Valley. We don’t outsource or rush your job—we work directly with you to make sure it’s done right, every time.

Precova was born from the harsh realization that so much of what we value can disappear in moments. After seeing the devastation of the Mountain, Palisades and Eaton fires and how quickly people lost decades of memories, I felt a calling to help preserve what matters most: family stories, photos, voices, and moments that can’t be replaced.

With a Master’s in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and certifications including CEH, ECES, ECIH, and Security+, I bring technical expertise and data protection best practices to an often emotional process. But more than that, I treat every project like I’m recovering my own family's history — with care, patience, and precision.

Whether it’s a shoebox of photos, a failing hard drive, or a VHS tape that hasn’t seen daylight in 30 years, I help bring memories back into the light — and preserve them so they’re never lost again.
